Academic + Learning Intervention

Our academic support is designed for children who may need a different approach to learning.

Creative Minds provides individualized support that can include structured literacy, Orton-Gillingham-based reading support, skill building, learning strategies, and support for neurodivergent learners.

Instead of simply asking, “What does this child need to learn?” we also look at:

What might be getting in the way of learning?

Attention. Frustration. Confidence. Communication. Executive-function skills. Emotional regulation. Transitions.

Sometimes academic progress starts by addressing the things surrounding the academics.

Academic + Behavioral Support

Not every child who needs behavioral support has extreme behaviors. And not every family looking for help needs—or is looking for—formal ABA therapy.

Some parents simply need practical strategies for everyday challenges.

That might look like difficulty with routines, frequent frustration, emotional regulation, transitions, following directions, independence, communication, or behaviors that interfere with learning and everyday family life.

Creative Minds provides practical, individualized academic and behavioral support designed to meet children where they are while helping parents better understand what may be contributing to the challenges they're seeing.

The goal isn't to make every child behave, learn, or communicate exactly the same way.

The goal is progress, confidence, independence, and skills that matter in real life.

IEP Prep + Consultations

Walking into an IEP meeting without understanding the process can be overwhelming.

Creative Minds offers IEP preparation and parent consultations to help families become more informed and prepared before those conversations happen.

We can help parents review information, organize concerns, understand terminology and the IEP process, research questions or potential supports, identify areas they may want to discuss with their child's school, and prepare questions for the meeting.

Creative Minds does not attend the IEP meeting as the parent's representative. Our role is preparation, education, research, and guidance so parents can walk into the conversation with greater clarity and confidence.

Creative Minds serves families through virtual services and individualized support options, making resources accessible beyond one neighborhood or city.

Creative Minds began with education.

We are currently developing Creative Minds ABA, an expansion intended to provide behavioral, educational, and family-centered support while maintaining the same principle that has guided Creative Minds from the beginning:
